Frank Robles has served the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) since 1998 and was promoted to the position of Chief Deputy Director in November 2023.

Frank brings more than 25 years of law enforcement experience. He started his state career at ABC in 1998 as an Investigator Trainee in the Los Angeles Metro District Office. He was quickly promoted to Investigator I, and a few years later was promoted to Investigator II. In 2002 Frank transferred to the Special Operations Unit (SOU) and worked out of the Southern Division Headquarters in Cerritos until 2005 when he was promoted to Supervising Investigator of the Riverside District.
In 2008, Frank transferred to the Long Beach/Lakewood District, followed by a move to the Cerritos Enforcement Office in 2013. Later that year he accepted a limited term position as a District Administrator, then shortly after was named the Supervising Agent in Charge in the Monrovia District.
In January 2017, Frank was promoted to the position of Supervising Agent in Charge of the Van Nuys District, and in the summer of 2017, he took over as Supervising Agent in Charge of the Special Operations Unit (SOU) in Southern Division. He held that position until his promotion to Deputy Division Chief. In November 2023, Frank was named ABC’s Chief Deputy Director. Frank holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Los Angeles.
