Jeannine Peregrina
Jeannine L. Peregrina was promoted in January 2021 to the position of ABC Deputy Division Chief (DDC) in the Southern Division.

Peregrina oversees the Los Angeles Metro, Monrovia, Bakersfield, Van Nuys, and Long Beach/Lakewood District Offices. She also oversees ABC’s Southern Division Special Operations (SOU) unit, the Alcohol Policing Partnership (APP) unit, and the Cerritos Enforcement Office. DDC Peregrina brings over 20 years of ABC experience to her position with expertise in licensing and enforcement. She started with ABC in July 1999 as an investigator in the Long Beach/Lakewood District office and promoted to the position of Investigator II in October 2001. In January 2008 she was promoted to Supervising Investigator of the Riverside District. She transferred to the Los Angeles Metro District office in 2011, then transferred to the Monrovia District in 2013. In June 2017 she was promoted to Supervising Agent in Charge of the Monrovia District before her most recent promotion to DDC.
In 2008, Jeannine received the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Hero’s Award for contributing to their mission while preventing underage drinking. DDC Peregrina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the California State University, Long Beach. She has been a Field Training Officer for the Department and enjoys mentoring and developing employees at all levels.
DDC Peregrina and her husband enjoy traveling and watching their three children play football, soccer and baseball.
