John Quin

Deputy Director, Public Affairs

John came to the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control in November 2023 with more than 15 years of communications experience in both the public and private sectors.

In addition to his role as Deputy Director of Public Affairs at ABC, he serves in the California Air National Guard as a public affairs officer, and is Afghanistan veteran.

He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and received a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri.
