Pursuant to the requirements of Government Code section 11346.8(c), and section 44 of Title 1 of the California Code of Regulations, the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (the Department) is providing notice of changes made to proposed regulations originally noticed to the public in the California Regulatory Notice Register on May 10, 2024.
Additionally, pursuant to the requirements of Government Code sections 11346.8(d), 11346.9(a)(1), and 11347.1, the Department is providing notice that a document which the agency has relied upon in adopting the proposed regulations have been added to the rulemaking file and is available for public inspection and comment. The document added to the rulemaking file is the Updated Initial Statement of Reasons.
This document is available for public inspection at the Department Headquarters office located at 3927 Lennane Drive, Sacramento, CA, 95834, from April 18, 2025, through May 5, 2025, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
If you have any comments regarding the proposed changes in double underline or double strikethrough or the Updated Initial Statement of Reasons, the Department will accept written comments between April 18, 2025, and May 5, 2025. Emailed comments must be submitted to rpu@abc.ca.gov with the subject line “Protests” and received by 12:00 p.m. on May 5, 2025. All other written comments must be received by the Department no later than 12:00 p.m. on May 5, 2025, and addressed to:
